2010 WINNER – BC EXPORT AWARD

In 2010, SPF Precut Lumber was once again awarded the BC Export Award in the Primary Products and Resources category, as presented by the Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters (CME) and the British Columbia Provincial Government, becoming a rare multiple-year winner of the BC Export Awards. For this award, SPF Precut Lumber was particularly recognized for its innovative inventory and logistics management systems, as well as its positive reputational contributions for the BC forestry sector to markets that were unfamiliar with BC wood products. As part of the distinction, SPF Precut Lumber President, Muhammad Amir, took part in an exclusive roundtable session with the Honourable Margaret MacDiarmid, Minister of Tourism, Trade, and Investment.
