Since 1994, Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year award has been the world’s most prestigious business award for entrepreneurs. In 2011, SPF Precut Lumber President, Muhammad Amir, was honoured as a finalist in the Canada-Pacific region for this famed award. In the Canada-Pacific region, Muhammad Amir was the only forestry-sector entrepreneur amongst the finalists in a wide-range of industries. The awards gained local and national media coverage in The National Post, Vancouver Sun, BCBusiness, and other publications.
